Recommended Remaps
Easier Color Picker Access
Rebind Eyedropper from Space to a side mouse button (Mouse 4 or 5). It is the most-used tool during prep and should be one click away.
Customize Crouch
Some players prefer Caps Lock or Left Alt for crouch — it depends on your keyboard layout and whether you use your pinky for crouching.
Reset Position for Beginners
If you find yourself running off the map, rebind Reset to a key near your movement keys (like Q or E) for quick recovery.
Save Multiple Profiles
Save separate keybind profiles for Hider (precision) vs Seeker (speed). The optimal layout is different for each role.
Common Issues & Fixes
Best Settings for Hiders vs Seekers
- Mouse sensitivity: 1.0–1.5 (slower for precise paint)
- Eyedropper on side mouse button
- Crouch on Caps Lock
- Reset on Q (recovery during prep)
- Mouse sensitivity: 2.0–2.5 (faster camera)
- Crouch on Left Ctrl (for wallkicks)
- Lock-on toggle on Shift
- Free-look on Right Mouse Button
